Standing out from the in-store crowd
When Amelia Knight was engaged to develop a new premium cosmetics range for George at ASDA, it wanted to display its products to maximum effect with point of display (POD) units able to hold high volumes of product, position it on a level with other beauty brands and be highly flexible to the retailer’s needs.
Using our knowledge of busy retail environments and in-house design expertise, we designed a bespoke display unit, targeting women aged 18 to early 30s looking for high quality, high value cosmetic products.
The frame was constructed in steel to ensure the strength, stability and durability of the overall display and ensured it complied with store health and safety requirements. The unit itself uses an innovative modular system comprising of a series of lightweight clear plastic modules that ensure the product is highly visible.
The units, which were hand tooled for added precision, have fabricated product holders with white acrylic fronts for a high sheen finish and utilise specialist lighting to draw the consumer’s eye.
Whilst our focus remains on the end user experience, attention is always given to health and safety factors, aethetics, future proofing, adaptability and many more areas of importance.
