Mark joined Fastrak in April 2012 as a machine operative within our Macclesfield manufacturing facility. Since then he has successfully climbed the ranks and now manages all aspects of Fastrak’s manufacturing and production operations across our UK sites. A fantastic achievement for Mark.

Previous work history for Mark was very varied! Having spent a lot of his former days working within the carpet manufacturing sector for 15 years and within the silk industry as a weaver prior to that, Mark then decided to try his luck as a Pub Landlord for 4 years.

Last orders was finally called and he moved onto production and warehouse manager positions looking after imported retail products from Asia for brands such as Elle and Cosmopolitan before finally settling down at Fastrak.

Some of Marks most challenging and rewarding highlights have been working on the two major Camelot projects and growing with the business as it expands to new and exciting directions.

Outside of Fastrak Mark is a proud Grandfather to three grandsons and has been married for 25 years. He likes to follow Manchester United attending home, away and European matches as often as possible. When he’s not at a football stadium you will find Mark hill walking wherever he can; once doing the 190 mile ‘Coast to Coast’ walk in 10 days!

Mark commented, “Since joining Fastrak I am delighted to have been a part of the team that has helped Fastrak grow to company that it is today. It’s been an exciting, but inspiring 4 years and I very much look forward to what the future has instore.” Mark Ash – Production Manager.
